My City: Babysitter is a simple roleplaying game with dollhouse-like mechanics. Players assume the role of the local neighboorhood’s babysitter. The goal of the game is taking good care of other people’s babies. The game features dressing up babies with fun clothing and accessories. There are unlockable characters, clothing, and customization options that players can acquire. Players can interact with the babies inside the daycare center or babysitter house.  The daycare center and babysitter house have facilities like the living room, bedroom, kitchen, wardrobe, and bathroom. They can also bring the babies to the park or local children store for a day trip and even to other My City Game locations. Players can buy baby accessories like night lamps, strollers, and trampolines on the children store. The subway allows players to visit other babies and take care of them. There is an option to change the day-night cycle for a very different experience. The game encourages parents and children to make stories as well as roleplay as babysitters for a day. Parents can teach children about raising babies, along with the responsibilities of keeping them safe. Children can exercise their imagination for making new scenarios. There are no challenges, competitions, and enemies. It instead fosters a very casual and stress-free experience for everyone.

Children and parents who are holding the same mobile device can simultaneously press with its multi-touch feature. They can import or export their existing My Town Game characters to other My Town Game applications such as  My City: Office and My City: Newborn Baby. Characters and clothing can be shared across My Town Game applications so that they don’t have to redecorate their characters. Players will notice that every My Town Game applications are streamlined into a large series. They can bring the babies in other My City Game locations other than the in-game park. There are also hidden surprises, gifts, and locations that they can discover.
